When you want it all, you really can’t go wrong with Pelago Hanko Outback. It’s ready and able whether you’re circling the urban roundabouts with groceries on your front rack or heading to the forest for autumn hammocking.

With its versatile capabilities and 1×10 gearing, you’ll be ready for hills, sharp curves and bumpy flats. The active riding position is provided by the Pelago Outback handlebar, which will help when cycling along forest paths. The grippy tyres hold you steady despite occasional terrain challenges. And the hydraulic disc brakes will make sure you stop, when you gotta.

Designed for active riding
Hanko Outback is the all-rounder trekking version of our fully capable Hanko bicycle. Equipped with racks and carriers, this bicycle will serve you well whether trekking, touring or just going for a Sunday outing.

In comparison to the Hanko Commuter and Hanko Street, the Hanko Outback comes with the Pelago Outback saddle, gravel tyres, a wide and simple-to-use 1×10 gearing. Outback is now customizable with dynamo lights.

The “Delicato” colour scheme draws its inspiration from Pelago’s next door street café in Helsinki. The geometry and selection of components creates a solid, all-round ride for fluctuating landscapes and conditions. The Hanko Outback comes with a polished finishing kit and as every Pelago bicycle, it’s equipped with mounting points for front and rear racks to extend the cargo capability.

Workshop Prepared, Delivered Your Way

Every bike is professionally assembled and inspected in our Port Elliot workshop before it leaves us.

Choose free collection and assembly in-store at our Port Elliot workshop, $100 flat-rate delivery direct to your door (including a pre-delivery inspection and follow-up video call to assist with final assembly), or $200 flat-rate delivery to your local bike shop, where a professional mechanic will complete the assembly and handover.

Because every bike deserves more than just being pulled from a box.

How does shipping work?

We ship Australia-wide from our warehouse. Most orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days and typically arrive within 3–7 business days for metro areas, or 5–10 business days for regional locations. Delivery times may vary during peak periods or for bulky items such as bicycles.

For bikes, you can also choose free collection and assembly in-store at our Port Elliot workshop. Shipping costs for delivery are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size. You will receive tracking details by email once your order has been dispatched.

What is your returns policy?

Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. To start a return or exchange, contact our team with your order number and we will guide you through the process.

Some items, including customised products and sale items marked as final sale, may not be eligible for return. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve it quickly.
